Had to decide between calling a plumber or fixing a leaky faucet myself this weekend

I had a drip in my kitchen sink that was driving me nuts. It was either pay a plumber $150 or watch some videos and try it myself. I went with the DIY route and spent $8 on a new washer from Ace Hardware. Took about 30 minutes once I found the right size wrench in the garage. Has anyone else fixed something small lately and saved the cash?

I fixed a leaky toilet once and ended up with a waterfall instead of a flush.

Yeah isn't that always how it goes, one small fix turns into a whole new disaster every time.

Dude @ray_martinez82 you're so right. I tried swapping a light switch and somehow ended up having to rewire half my basement. Now I just live in the dark lol.
