Kitchen faucet started leaking at 11pm and I fixed it with a $4 part from a 24 hour hardware store
Last Tuesday around 11pm my kitchen faucet started dripping and by midnight it was a steady stream filling a bowl every 40 minutes. I watched a 6 minute video, drove to the 24 hour Ace on Lamar, bought a $4 cartridge, and had it swapped in under an hour. Has anyone else fixed something at midnight that a plumber would have charged $250 for, and did it actually hold up?
