My car's battery died in the grocery store lot on the hottest day of the year.

It happened last Tuesday when it was 102 degrees, and I had a trunk full of frozen stuff. I had to call a tow for a jump, which cost me $75, and half my groceries were ruined. Anyone have a good battery brand they trust, or is it just luck of the draw?

Honestly my buddy had a pack of those in his kid's toy for like two years straight. Kid played with it every single day. Tbh we all thought it would die in a month. Ngl when he finally changed them we were shocked they lasted that long. It's kinda wild for the price.

Wait, did he ever have to take them out for anything else, or did they just live in that toy the whole two years? I'm trying to figure out if they got a break sometimes (you know, like when the toy got lost under the couch for a week) or if it was just non-stop use. That's a crazy long time for something that gets daily play.
