My car's battery died in the grocery store lot on the hottest day of the year.

It happened last Tuesday when it was 102 degrees, and I had a trunk full of frozen stuff. I had to call a tow for a jump, which cost me $75, and half my groceries were ruined. Anyone have a good battery brand they trust, or is it just luck of the draw?

Honestly my buddy had a pack of those in his kid's toy for like two years straight. Kid played with it every single day. Tbh we all thought it would die in a month. Ngl when he finally changed them we were shocked they lasted that long. It's kinda wild for the price.

I'm trying to figure out if they got a break sometimes (you know, like when the toy got lost under the couch for a week) or if it was just non-stop use. Oh man, I've been there with my nephew's toys. Those batteries usually give out way before two years unless the toy is one of those simpler ones that just lights up or makes a basic sound. If the kid took breaks even for a few days or the toy got hidden under the couch for a bit, that definitely stretches the life. Honestly I bet the kid played with it hard but not nonstop, and the batteries just kept on ticking because they're not the kind of thing that drains fast from casual use.
