My perfect Thursday fell apart in 20 minutes flat

Last week I was on top of the world - woke up early, made a real breakfast, no traffic on the way to work. Then at 10:30 AM my car got a flat tire in the middle of a construction zone on Elm Street. By the time the tow truck showed up I was 2 hours late for a meeting, and I still had to shell out $180 for a new tire I wasn't planning on. Has anyone else had one of those days where a whole good week gets wrecked by a single stupid thing?

Dude, did a construction zone just curse us all or something? Last month I was having the best Friday, finally caught up on sleep, got a coffee and everything. Then I hit a pothole that looked like a small crater and bent my rim so bad I had to limp to a shop and drop $250 on a replacement. It was like the universe just said "nah, you don't get nice things today.
