That $60 shower head I almost didn't buy ended up being a lifesaver

I moved into this old apartment about a year ago and the shower pressure was just terrible. Like a sad little drizzle that could barely rinse soap out of my hair. I kept putting off replacing the shower head because I didn't want to spend the money or hassle with plumbing. Finally caved and bought a basic high-pressure one for $60 at the hardware store. Took maybe 15 minutes to swap out with just a wrench and some plumber's tape. First shower after that felt like standing under a waterfall. Has anyone else put off a small home fix for way too long and then kicked yourself for not doing it sooner?

Oh totally, I had the exact same thing with a kitchen faucet that dripped for like six months. Finally replaced the cartridge for $8 and I was so mad at myself for putting up with that annoying sound that long.

Six months of a dripping faucet sounds about right for me too. I've got a leaky hose spigot outside that's been dripping since last summer. Kept telling myself I'd fix it before the ground froze and now I get to deal with an ice sculpture every morning. The $8 fix is always way cheaper than the $80 water bill you get from procrastinating. But hey, at least my icicle is pretty impressive.
