The $238 gym membership I paid for six months without going once
Signed up last January at that shiny new fitness place downtown, convinced I'd become a 6am workout person. Went twice in February, once in March, then just kept letting the auto-pay hit my account because canceling felt like a whole bureaucratic nightmare. Finally logged in yesterday and saw the total: $238. What actually changed my mind was my friend telling me she just called her bank to block the merchant, so I did the same thing in five minutes. Anyone else got a subscription they're too embarrassed to admit to paying for all year?

Honestly I used to think blocking was extra but yeah thats such a good hack.
