The day I learned folding fitted sheets is just a myth
I spent 20 years wrestling with fitted sheets, folding them into lumpy piles that never fit in the closet. Then my friend Sarah at a sleepover in Austin showed me she just balls them up and stuffs them inside the matching flat sheet. She said 'nobody actually folds fitted sheets, we all fake it.' Now I just shove everything into one pillowcase and call it done. Anyone else have a lazy hack that saved them time?

The pillowcase trick is genius, I've been doing that for years with my kids' sheets. Matching sets go straight into the pillowcase with the flat sheet on top to keep everything together. Makes laundry day way less frustrating for sure.

The thing Sarah told me about folding fitted sheets being a lie... I read somewhere that something like 70% of people just ball them up and hide them. @betty_wells is right about the pillowcase thing for kids' sheets, it's a game changer. My mom still tries to fold them perfectly and gets so frustrated she gives up after two tries. I just roll the whole thing into a snake and stuff it in the matching pillowcase now, takes about ten seconds.

Wait wait wait, 70% of people just ball them up? That's actually wild to me, I thought it was more like 50/50. @betty_wells really cracked the code with that pillowcase method though, I've been doing it since she mentioned it and my life changed for real. Your snake roll trick sounds way faster than my bunched up mess I just shove in the linen closet.
