My aunt's offhand comment about my snack stash hit weirdly hard
She said 'you always buy the same 3 things, do you even like food?' while looking at my cart at the Piggly Wiggly in Mobile, and I realized I've been eating plain turkey sandwiches for lunch every day for 8 months just because it's easy. Has anyone else ever had a relative point out something so small that made you question a whole routine you thought was fine?

Own it, my aunt once watched me eat the same sad gas station taquito 3 days in a row and asked if I was secretly in a cult. I told her it was a texture thing, but really I just hate making choices after work. My fridge is basically a graveyard of half-used condiments that were too fancy for my 3 rotating meals. Grew up fine on plain noodles and dinosaur nuggets, so my palate just never really left 1998. At least turkey sandwiches have protein, that's practically gourmet compared to my cheese quesadilla era.
