The 3 AM kitchen epiphany about hand tools
Last Tuesday I couldn't sleep and ended up in the kitchen staring at a drawer full of screwdrivers. I compared my cheap set from the gas station to one decent $18 Craftsman I borrowed from a neighbor. The cheap ones stripped the screw head in 20 seconds flat, but the good one turned it out smooth like butter. Why do I keep buying the knockoffs when the real thing saves me an hour of cussing every time? Has anyone else had that moment where you finally spend a little more and wonder why you waited so long?
