TIL the fire escape plan at my office was 7 years outdated

Found out yesterday because a buddy in facilities showed me the actual drill map they still hand out. It lists a stairwell that got sealed off in 2018 when they renovated the third floor. We have 214 people in this building and if anything happened at night, half of us would be running at a wall. I checked the city fire code online, that's a $500 per day fine until it's fixed. Has anyone else actually looked at their building's emergency plan lately?
