Broke a shear pin on my brush hog at 7am and had one spare in the truck
Honestly I was mowing the back five acres off County Road 12 last Saturday when I hit a stump I forgot was there. Heard the bang, shut the PTO down right away, and sure enough the shear pin was in three pieces. I dug around the toolbox and had exactly one spare, so I tapped it in, greased the joint, and was cutting again in about 20 minutes. Now I keep four in a little tin taped inside the toolbox, what do you all stash for quick fixes in the field?
