Hit 10,000 hours on my old Ford 8N last month and did the math on what that really means
My hour meter rolled past 10,000 back in June on a 1952 8N I picked up near Emory, Texas for $1,800 about 9 years ago. That works out to roughly 3 hours of seat time every single day, which seems nuts until you remember this thing mows, plows, and drags a box blade on 40 acres. The wild part is the motor has never been cracked open, just oil changes and one rebuilt carb. Anybody else running a tractor past the 10k mark, and did you keep going or finally park it?
