AI scheduling bot failed hard and made me reconsider the whole setup

I set up an AI scheduling assistant for my pest control routes last month. Two days ago it double booked me in completely different parts of town. One job was in Oak Park and the other was 45 minutes away in Elmwood. I wasted a whole morning driving and apologizing to customers. That failure convinced me to go back to a manual calendar with backup checks. Anyone else have an AI tool cause more chaos than it solved?

Man oh man, that's like the golden rule of anything new with a learning curve. I've noticed that same thing with every smart device I buy, you gotta babysit it at first before you can trust it not to do something stupid.

Wade's right. First month is all about holding its hand. Smart thermostat kept cranking AC at 3am until I reprogrammed it twice. Robot vacuum still tries to eat my cat's toy mice. You gotta earn that trust.
