I called AI art a gimmick until I saw it design a logo for a friend's food truck

My buddy in Austin needed a logo fast and cheap. He fed a free tool some words about tacos and vintage cars, and it spat out 30 options in a minute. One was actually good, like a pro made it. Now I get that the real deal is how fast it can try ideas, not just make pretty pictures. Anyone else have a moment where a dumb AI tool actually did something useful?
