Just hit 500 AI-generated images that looked good until I zoomed in
Been testing this new image generator for a side project. Out of 500 tries, maybe 10 were usable without weird hands or faces. The rest look fine at first glance, but zoom in and it's a mess of melted fingers or extra teeth. Anyone else running into this with the latest models?

Honestly, I used to think people were overreacting about AI art looking weird up close. But I messed around with this one generator for a character design project and yeah, zooming in showed all these random extra fingers and teeth that looked like popcorn. It totally changed my mind about how far these models still have to go.

Wait, the teeth looked like popcorn? Like actual popped kernels, or more like the way popcorn looks when it's all weird and misshapen? That's honestly kind of hilarious and terrifying at the same time. I've seen the extra finger thing a bunch, but bad teeth is a new level of uncanny valley for me. Makes you wonder what else is hiding in those images that we just can't see at first glance.
