Just realized the AI tool I bragged about at my office demo last Tuesday made up a whole property listing
I showed off this new AI assistant to my whole team during a training session and it confidently invented a 4 bedroom house on a street that does not exist. It gave me a fake square footage, fake year built, and even a fake owner name, all in a clean little paragraph that sounded completely real. That was Tuesday around 2pm and I did not catch it until a client asked why the listing number went nowhere. Now I am manually checking every single thing it spits out, which kind of defeats the whole point. Has anyone found a way to make these tools actually cite where their info comes from instead of just making stuff up?

Why would it cite sources when making stuff up is easier?
