My client in Denver said his new AI-powered workout app felt like a 'cheat code' for his fitness goals, which got me thinking.

He showed me how it adjusts his entire weekly plan in real time based on his sleep data and a 10-second morning video check-in, and now I'm split between seeing it as a brilliant personalization tool or a step toward removing the human element from coaching entirely.

Honestly, that "cheat code" idea got me too because I tried a similar app last year and it felt weirdly helpful at first. After a month I noticed I was second guessing my own decisions and just letting the app run my whole routine without thinking. It worked okay but I ended up ditching it because I missed the feeling of actually owning my progress.

Owning my progress" is exactly why I stick with my basic planner, honestly.

Yeah my buddy tried that app and ended up organizing his spice rack by how much he uses it.
