Saw a demo of AI transcription at a conference in Austin last month

The thing transcribed a full 45-minute panel with 6 speakers in under a minute. Zero mistakes as far as I could tell. Any recommendations for something similar I could use for my own client meetings?

oh man that demo sounds sweet. i grabbed otter.ai for my own client calls after trying a few different ones and it's been solid. not quite as fast as what you saw maybe but it catches everything pretty well even with multiple people talking. the big thing for me was making sure i had good mics in the room because background noise can throw it off. i'd say just pick one and give it a shot for a week or two, see how it handles your usual meeting chaos lol.

Yeah the mic thing is a big deal, I swapped out my laptop's built in one for a cheap USB condenser and it cut way down on the garbled parts. @paul_taylor21 mentioned Otter handling multiple speakers and I've found it does okay but it gets confused if people talk over each other too much, the transcripts get a little messy. Still beats typing notes by hand though, even with the occasional weird word.

Friend tried Otter on a windy patio, got "please mute the lawnmower" in the transcript.
