Spent 3 hours training an AI to sort my email and it still cant tell a bill from a spam

I tried using a machine learning tool to auto-filter my inbox so I wouldn't have to look at 50 messages a day. After 3 hours of tweaking training data it still flagged my electric bill as a Nigerian prince scam. Has anyone else had a model completely miss the mark like that?

Ngl, it's like everything these days is a broken promise wrapped in a fancy label. First it's your email filter, then it's a meditation app, next thing you know your self-driving car can't tell a stop sign from a pizza delivery flyer.

Man maybe the model just has trust issues with anything that charges money.

Oh man, tell me about it. I keep swearing I'm done giving money to apps that promise to change my life. Last week I bought a meditation app subscription and have opened it exactly zero times since. Guess my wallet's trust issues are actually just my wallet's survival instincts.
