Switched my business proposal writing over to AI last month and it cut my work time by 60%

I used to spend three or four hours drafting every single proposal for clients, going back and forth to get the wording right. Then I tried feeding my notes into a simple AI tool and asking it to turn them into a proposal outline. It took fifteen minutes instead of hours, and the client actually said it was clearer than my old ones. Has anyone else found a good setup for making AI handle the boring parts of your job without losing your personal style?

Yeah I do the same thing now. I feed it my bullet points and a few examples of my old writing so it keeps my tone, then just tweak a sentence or two after. Way less painful.

Wait, have you found that feeding it your old writing actually keeps the tone consistent? I tried that once and it sort of worked but not really. My issue is that I write pretty casually with lots of sentence fragments and weird punctuation, and the AI keeps trying to \"fix\" it into proper grammar. I usually have to go back and add my awkward pauses back in manually. The bullet points trick helps a lot though, I do that too so it doesn't try to get all creative on me. Maybe I need to give it more examples next time, like a whole page of my old emails or something.

I swear by feeding it an entire page of my own writing now, it makes a world of difference. The AI still tries to smooth out my sentence fragments into perfect grammar, but it's way more subtle so I only have to fix a little bit instead of rewriting half the output. I think the key is giving it examples that really lean into your weird punctuation and broken sentences, like show it the messiest emails you've got. Also I've noticed if I put a note at the top like "tone is casual and fragmented, do not correct my grammar" it actually listens somewhat. But yeah, the bullet points trick is a lifesaver, keeps it from trying to write a whole essay for you.
