Talked to a dev who said building AI agents is 'mostly prompt engineering' and it made me rethink my whole approach

80% of those agents are just GPT wrappers with different system prompts anyway.

Yeah people slap fancy labels on the same old stuff all the time, like rebranding leftovers as new.

Nah, it's more like 90% if you're being honest about what's out there. The other 10% are folks doing actual fine tuning or running local models.
