TIL my local library's AI book finder is way better than the big search engine one.
The library tool, 'LibraFind', gave me 5 perfect results in 30 seconds for a niche robotics topic, while the general AI search just gave me a bunch of ads and vague articles. Anyone know other good specialized AI search tools?

What kind of robotics topic were you looking up? I've tried finding stuff on swarm robotics and got mostly junk from the big search engines, just old news articles. It makes sense a library tool would cut out the noise. I wonder if it's better because it only searches academic or vetted sources.

Right, it's not a thesis! And honestly even if you needed it to be, good luck with the paywalls. I just wanted some basics on robot arm control algorithms for a little personal project and I ran into the same problem. Google just showed me old forum posts and vague YouTube comments. A friend pointed me to a library search tool and suddenly I'm finding actual papers with diagrams and stuff. Felt like magic compared to wading through the garbage.
