Dropped $60 on a silicone air fryer liner and my chicken thighs came out soggy every time
I swear by parchment paper for crispy results and even cooking, but my buddy swears the silicone liners save him from scrubbing the basket - which side are you on, and have you actually compared both on the same recipe?

Yeah, I gotta back you up on the "soggy every time" part because that's exactly what happened to me with a silicone liner. I tried it twice with chicken thighs and both times the bottom was a greasy mess, no crisp at all. I went back to parchment paper and my thighs come out with a decent crunch and I'm not scrubbing much more than a quick rinse anyway.

Did you try flipping the chicken halfway through?

Was the chicken patted dry before it went into the silicone liner? Moisture getting trapped underneath is usually what causes that soggy bottom. I find leaving the thighs uncovered in the fridge for an hour before cooking makes a big difference too.
