Found a bag of frozen chicken wings I forgot about for 3 months

So I was cleaning out my freezer last weekend and found this bag of frozen wings I bought back in June. Didn't know if they'd be safe to cook but I threw them in the air fryer at 380 for 25 minutes anyway. Honestly they came out super crispy and tasted fine, no weird smell or anything. Anyone else ever cook stuff that sat in the freezer way too long in their air fryer?

I used to be super paranoid about freezer burn and thought anything past a month or two was a lost cause, but hearing that your buddy was fine after 8 months is wild. This definitely makes me less scared to dig through the back of my freezer next time I'm hungry.

My buddy ate wings that were in his freezer for like 8 months and he's totally fine.

OH man, @karenh56 you are giving me LIFE with this story. I totally feel you on this because I once found a bag of frozen broccoli in the back of MY freezer that had a best by date from the previous president, and I STILL ate it and lived to tell the tale. Honestly, my buddy's freezer is basically a time capsule of questionable food decisions, and I've learned that as long as you COOK it hot enough, your stomach is a lot tougher than you think. So if your buddy can survive 8 month old wings, I should stop throwing out my "expired" frozen pizzas and just accept that I'm being dramatic. My own bad decisions in the kitchen probably outweigh the actual freezer risk at this point!
