Just discovered a game changer with preheating my air fryer

Guys seriously stop skipping the preheat step. I spent 6 weeks wondering why my chicken came out dry and chewy until I let my Cosori run empty for 5 minutes first it made all the difference. Has anyone else noticed a huge change after you started preheating?

Read it makes a huge difference. My chicken stopped being rubbery after preheating.

Does preheating make that big of a difference for other meats too? I always just toss my chicken in cold and hope for the best. Might have to actually start paying attention to that.

@michaeld48 nailed it, the rubbery texture is exactly what preheating fixes. It's like when you forget to warm up your car in the winter and the engine just sputters for a mile. Same principle. I noticed it's part of this bigger pattern where we rush everything in the kitchen cause we're trying to save time but end up wasting more time on bad results. Cold starts mess with the whole cooking process, same as not letting a cast iron pan get hot enough before you drop in the food. It's one of those small steps that feels annoying but saves you so much hassle later.
