My frozen fries went from soggy to perfect in just 12 minutes
I used to just dump the bag in my basket and they always came out limp. This time, I spread them in a single layer and shook the basket halfway through. What's your go-to trick for frozen stuff in the air fryer?

Lol my first attempt was a solid block of fry-shaped charcoal. The single layer thing is a total game changer, no idea why it took me so long to figure that out.

So you were crowding the whole batch into one layer before? I did that exact thing with potato wedges last month... turned the oven into a smoke machine. How many times did you have to try the single layer method before you got the timing right?

My third try was the charm, but my kitchen smelled like a campfire for a week. @robin628, I feel you on the smoke machine thing, my fire alarm got a real workout. I was so stubborn about wanting to cook everything at once. Now I just accept that making two batches is faster than cleaning the oven after a grease fire.
