My mom called my air fryer a glorified toaster oven last weekend

She said that while I was making crispy chickpeas in 12 minutes flat, something that used to take me 40 minutes in the regular oven. It made me wonder if anyone else has had family members totally dismiss what an air fryer can do until they actually taste the results.

Tell her to come back after she tastes the reheat on leftover pizza or fries. My mom said the same thing until I made her bacon in 8 minutes with zero grease splatter everywhere. Now she asks me to bring mine over for holiday cooking.

Oh wait, leftover pizza in an air fryer is actually amazing, not just good! You gotta try it at 350 for like 3 minutes, it comes out crispy on the outside but still soft.

And have you tried reheating a slice of pizza in the air fryer and then dipping it in ranch? That's like a whole new meal, not just leftovers.
