See it differently for sure. Sometimes one blunt comment from someone you trust cuts through all the noise and makes you actually fix a problem you'd been ignoring.

My roommate literally did the same thing with my cooking last year. She just said "your pasta always tastes like cardboard" and it stung but she was right lol. That one annoying comment made me actually watch some videos and learn to salt water properly. Sometimes people just need that one person to be brutally honest when everyone else is being nice about it.

I mean, "changed everything" feels a little dramatic. Your sister made a joke about dry chicken, which is like the most common air fryer complaint there is. Unless she followed it up with a whole presentation on the seven stages of dry chicken grief, that's just a sibling being a sibling. Maybe it's just me but I don't think a sandal comparison warrants a life overhaul. It's chicken, not a TED Talk.
