My sister's frozen waffle trick finally made sense

My sister swore that putting frozen waffles in the air fryer at 380 for 8 minutes beat the toaster every time, and I laughed it off for a year. Last Sunday I tried it with a cheap store brand from Ralphs and they came out crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle, just like she said. Has anyone else found a workhorse frozen food that works better in the air fryer than the original appliance?

380 for 8 mins is close but I usually do 390 so the middle gets a bit more done, lol. Still, you're right that the air fryer blows the toaster out of the water for these.
