Pro tip: Sorting through my old cookbooks flipped my view on air fryer veggies
I thought they would always be soggy, but finding a vintage recipe card convinced me to try Brussels sprouts, and now they're crispy every time, what veggie do you air fry?

What kind of cookbook was it that had the magic trick? My air fryer win was with broccoli, but it took me burning a batch into little black nuggets to figure out the right time. My smoke alarm got a real workout that day. Now I just shake the basket a lot and pray.

Did my fries count as charcoal yet?

Forgot the book but the trick was shaking halfway.

Old cookbooks are like secret manuals for modern gadgets. @phoenixwood burning that broccoli is a classic case of trial and error, but those vintage cards skip straight to the win. I see this everywhere, like using a cast iron skillet after years of non-stick pans. The old ways just have a better grasp on basics, like heat and time. My air fryer champion is cauliflower, because some grandma's note about dry edges changed EVERYTHING.
