PSA: That $40 silicone air fryer liner melted into my basket
I bought one of those flexible silicone liners off Amazon back in March because I hated scrubbing the wire rack. First two weeks were fine, but then I ran the air fryer on 400 degrees for some frozen fries and the whole thing just sagged and fused to the bottom. Took me a solid hour with a butter knife and hot soapy water to peel it off, and the coating on the basket is all scratched up now. Has anyone else had this happen, or did I just get a cheap knockoff that couldn't handle high heat?

Quit blaming the liner when you literally ran it at 400 degrees. Silicone has a temp range, and most of those cheap Amazon ones top out around 425 but the quality control is all over the place. I've used a liner for two years now and never pushed it past 375, and I just toss it in the dishwasher. You probably got a bad batch, but an hour of scraping sounds like you were more mad than careful. Just order a new basket if it really bothers you, they're like fifteen bucks on eBay.
