TIL that a $40 silicone air fryer liner either saves cleanup or ruins your cooking
I got a pack of those silicone liners off Amazon for like $40 for 3 of them. First few times I used one, it was great - no scrubbing the basket. But then I made some breaded chicken tenders and they came out soggy on the bottom. I think the liner blocked the airflow. Now I'm split on them. Some people swear by them for easy cleanup, others say they mess up the crisp. I'm leaning towards tossing them but want to hear what you all think. Do you use liners or just spray the basket directly?

Honestly, I think the sogginess is on you for not adjusting the temp or flipping halfway through.

Flipping halfway really is key... I learned that the hard way after a few sad, limp batches.

Flipping halfway is definitely a good move, but I'm with you on wondering if this is really that big of a deal, @jana_shah. I mean, a limp batch of whatever you're making is annoying, but it's not like the world ended or anything, right? Sometimes I just eat the sogginess and move on with my day.
