Tried frozen chicken wings in the air fryer without thawing them first

I was in a rush last night and threw a bag of frozen wings straight into my air fryer at 380°F. I figured they'd be soggy or undercooked but after 25 minutes they came out perfectly crispy. The skin was actually better than when I thaw them overnight. Has anyone else tried skipping the thaw step with something like wings or tenders?

Nah I actually gotta disagree hard here. That 25 minutes at 380°F sounds like a recipe for disaster since frozen wings release so much moisture they steam before they crisp, so you're basically boiling the skin before you get any browning. I've tested it both ways and thawed wings always come out way more consistent and actually cooked through without that weird chewy texture near the bone.
