Warning: I used to burn my frozen fries every single time
Honestly, I just gave up on them for like 6 months. Then I saw a video from a guy in Dallas who said to soak them in cold water for 10 minutes before you air fry. Tried it with a bag of store brand crinkles and they came out perfect, not a single burnt spot. Has anyone else found a trick for a different frozen food?

Okay but that soaking trick sounds like way too much work for frozen fries. The whole point is they're supposed to be easy. Honestly, just shaking the basket halfway through and maybe giving them a tiny spray of oil has never failed me. Frozen pizza is a total gamble though, your sheet pan idea is pretty smart for that.

The sheet pan trick for pizza crust is genius, I need to try that. I'm with @the_diana on the shaking method for fries, but my oven runs so hot I still end up with a few charcoal bits. My own frozen food shame is those breaded chicken patties that are somehow still frozen solid in the middle when the outside is done.

My oven always turns frozen pizza crust into a cracker. I started putting a baking sheet on the rack below it to block the direct heat. What's your go-to frozen meal that never lets you down?
