A guy in Anchorage told me my wire routing was a fire waiting to happen
He pointed out a bundle I'd zip-tied too tight near a hydraulic line, saying the chafing would've been bad news in six months. I switched to using cushioned clamps and leaving a finger's width of slack on every run now. How many of you actually check your old work for stuff like that?

Holy cow, a finger's width of slack on every run?

Doesn't it feel like everything's just a little bit off lately?

Maybe we're just noticing small things more. The world has always had weird little glitches. It's probably not a sign of anything bigger.

Have you tried @mary_west's trick of marking your laces with a Sharpie?
