Can we talk about cheap torque wrenches for cylinder base nuts?
I wasted $60 and half a Friday afternoon on a Harbor Freight click-type that was off by over 15 foot-pounds on the high end, which meant I had to re-torque everything with a loaner from the shop.

That's a solid tip about storage. Calibration can drift fast if you leave them cranked up.

Oh man, that storage trick from @the_alice is smart. It reminds me of my old torque wrench that got all out of whack after a summer in the garage heat.

I've had good luck with the Tekton click wrenches (they're surprisingly solid for the price). Just make sure to store them at their lowest setting.
