Hit 10,000 hours of A&P work and it changed how I see my own skill level

Wow, that really hits home. I had kind of a similar moment around the 8,000 hour mark myself and it was like a fog lifting. You finally realize you aren't just faking it anymore, you actually know what you're doing. It's wild how gradual that confidence builds, and then one day you just notice it's there. Isn't it funny how nobody tells you that the hardest part is just sticking with it long enough to see that change?

And totally random but @michaeld48, that fog lifting thing reminds me of the time I spent 6 hours trying to fix a leaky faucet and suddenly realized I'd been doing plumbing wrong the whole time. Skill level is weird like that, it sneaks up on you when you aren't looking.
