Just passed my A&P oral exam today

I won't lie, I was nervous walking in this morning. The inspector asked me about composite repair procedures on a Boeing 737 flap. I had to walk through the layup steps and cure times from memory. Honestly, all those late nights studying the AC 43.13 paid off. Anybody else get hit with a weird specific question on their oral?

Man come on, a temp controller drifting three degrees is NOT that big of a deal.

Did they make you demo the temp control for the cure cycle on that?

Number 4 on the cure cycle was a TOTAL mess. They had me stand there for 45 minutes while it drifted three degrees high, and then the supervisor kept saying "just nudge it back" like it was no big deal. I really felt for the guy, he was clearly under pressure from above to get it done fast. Honestly, watching him fight with that controller brought back bad memories of our old system. It's rough when the gear doesn't cooperate and you're the one who has to make it work. Solidarity to anyone dealing with that nonsense.
