Overheard a pilot call a wrench a 'spinny thing' yesterday

Was helping out at ORD during a quick turn and this pilot points at my torque wrench asking if it was a 'spinny thing for the wheels'. Took everything I had not to laugh, but honestly it made me wonder how many of us actually know what every tool in our box does vs just grabbing what works. Anyone else got a dumb quote from a pilot or passenger that stuck with you?

Actually the funny part is he wasn't totally wrong. That torque wrench does spin and it does go on wheels, so the logic checks out. Had a guy in the jump seat once ask if the wing was "floppy" because he could see it flex during turbulence. Settled his nerves by explaining the engineering behind it, but I still use "floppy wing day" whenever it gets bumpy. Most folks just need the simple version, not a whole lecture on torque specs and load limits.
