Remember when we all used to carry those big paper manuals?

Back in the day, my whole tool cart was weighed down by binders for a single aircraft type. Now I just pull up the PDF on my tablet. The switch happened around 2015 when my old hangar in Tulsa finally got reliable wifi. It saves so much time not flipping through pages. Anyone else still have a favorite old paper manual they miss?

Those binders were basically free gym memberships. My back still hurts thinking about it.

What kind of binders were they? The huge three ring ones with the metal rings that always broke?

My buddy had one of those monsters split open on the stairs once. Papers went flying everywhere like a confetti bomb. Took him an hour to sort it all out.
