Vent: chasing a fuel leak that took 9 hours and I still don't know if I fixed it right

Man, I used to be the guy who'd just tighten everything up and pray, figured if it stopped dripping it was fixed. But after a few times of that exact 9 hour nightmare, where I thought I was done only to find a wet spot the next morning, I completely changed my mind. Now I'm the annoying person with the cheap UV dye kit and a black light, because I'd rather spend an extra hour finding the actual source than redo the whole damn thing. It's humbling to admit I was wrong about that, but chasing a phantom leak that you thought you fixed is a special kind of hell I don't wish on anyone.
