Watching a new guy try to clock a prop flange with a digital level

He spent 20 minutes trying to get it to read zero, then asked me to check it. The old manual protractor I keep in my box showed a 0.5 degree error in about 30 seconds. I think some folks rely too much on the fancy digital stuff without knowing the basics. Anyone else still keep a manual protractor around for a sanity check?

My old school protractor saved me last week too.

Old school tools just work when you need them.

What did you even need it for?
