Found a trick for hiding motion sensor wires in vinyl siding
Last week I was installing a motion sensor on a house with vinyl siding in Phoenix and the homeowner didnt want any visible wires. I ended up using a flat spade bit to gently lift the siding lip and ran the wire behind the panel instead of drilling through the wall. Took me about 10 extra minutes but the finished look was so clean the guy actually tipped me $50. Has anyone else found a good way to conceal wires without cutting into drywall?

@dakotab93 nailed it with the Mesa job. I did one in Tempe last month and used a flathead screwdriver to pop the siding lip instead of a spade bit since I forgot mine. Worked fine just took a little more care not to scratch the vinyl. Whole thing was maybe 15 extra minutes but the homeowner said it looked better than the original builder work.

The trick with the spade bit is solid. I did the same thing last year on a ranch house in Mesa and the homeowner was stoked it looked seamless.
