Hit 50 panel installs in one week and my back is paying for it
Last week I finished my 50th alarm panel install for the month, which was way more than my usual 20-25. I was running three jobs a day in Atlanta, climbing attics and running wires in 90 degree heat. By Thursday my knees were shot and I messed up a corner bead on a drywall return. Has anyone else pushed past their normal install count and regretted it the next week?

Yeah man I learned that lesson the hard way too, pacing yourself is everything.

The older I get, the more I realize that pacing yourself isn't just about not getting injured. It's about actually enjoying the process instead of burning out or hating every step. I used to push way too hard, and it just led to a lot of half-finished projects and frustration. Now I try to find a rhythm where I can keep going week after week without needing long breaks to recover. It's not exciting, but it gets the job done with way less drama.
