Just realized my most paranoid client was onto something
I was finishing a job for a guy in Phoenix who insisted on a motion sensor in his attic crawlspace, which I thought was nuts. He said, 'If someone gets past the doors and windows, they'll try the attic next, trust me.' It made me think about all the easy access points we sometimes skip. Anyone else started adding attic sensors after a client request?

Attic crawlspace? That's a new level of security I never would have considered.

Tried that once with some old tax papers. Worked until I forgot where I put them.

Works until you need it.

Wait, is an attic crawlspace really that common of a break-in point? Feels like most burglars just check cars and windows, not crawl through dusty attics for thirty seconds.
