Overheard a GC say our panel placement was 'art' and it stuck with me
Last Tuesday on a retrofit in a basement in Akron, the general contractor told my foreman the way I ran the keypad wire looked like art. Made me realize how much the little stuff like hiding loops behind studs shows, even if the customer never sees it. Anyone else get comments on the tidy work that nobody should notice?

Respect that you take pride in the hidden stuff. I've had electricians tell me they appreciated how I kept scrap wire and dust off their floor, which sounds dumb but saves them time later. The customer only sees the finished walls, but the next guy who opens it up knows you gave a damn. Good work is its own payback.
