Tried using cheap wire nuts on a 20-panel job and had three pop off during testing
The $5 bag saved me money upfront but cost me two extra hours of rework when the 16-18 gauge connections slipped right off, has anyone else had this happen with the no-name brand nuts from the hardware store?

Read somewhere that those wheel nuts have a torque spec for a reason. Bet the next set won't come loose so easy!

Those cheap nuts failed because you didn't tighten them enough. Skill issue.
