I clicked one lawn care video and now my feed thinks I am a turf scientist
So this happened maybe ten days ago. I was just trying to figure out why one patch of my grass in the backyard was dying, so I watched one video about overseeding. That was my mistake. By the next morning my entire feed was nothing but lawn content. Fertilizer ratios, aerating tips, guys yelling about soil pH at 6am. I do not even own a spreader. After about 3 days I started getting mad at the app for real. It was showing me stuff I never asked for and hiding the stuff I actually wanted, like my cousin's photos. So I spent an hour on Sunday hitting the little 'not interested' button on every single lawn video that popped up. Funny thing is, now it keeps showing me videos about how to fight the algorithm. Which is how I ended up here I guess. Has this happened to anyone else where one innocent click completely took over your feed for over a week?
