I thought those app privacy labels were just for show until one made me delete a game

Last month I actually read the privacy label on a puzzle game I'd had for 2 years and saw it was sharing my location with 4 different ad networks. I checked my phone's location history and it had logged me at my kid's school 87 times, which I never agreed to. Has anyone else actually changed what apps they keep after reading those labels?
