That pricing algorithm advice from a forum stranger saved my drive-thru budget

Some random commenter told me to recheck my grocery delivery prices at 7pm instead of noon, said the surge pricing kicks in after dinner. I tested it three times over the last two weeks in Austin and my total dropped $14 each order. Has anyone else found certain times of day trigger silent price bumps on the same cart?

Did you check if the store's app shows different prices based on your location too? I found that switching my delivery zip code to the next town over changed a bunch of item prices on my usual cart in Phoenix. Also, I started refreshing the cart right at 8am on Sundays and that knocked off about $9 because the weekly sales reset then. Another tip, the "subscribe and save" thing dropped a few dollars but I had to cancel it right after delivery or it kept charging me. Have you tried comparing the store's website against the app on the same phone? That caught me a $5 difference once.

Sounds like a lot of work to save a few bucks, usually not worth it.
